Branco Do Ribatejo Melon

Description: This Portuguese heirloom has very sweet flesh that is nearly white, as is the rind. Fruits are oval and typically weigh 6 to 8 pounds. We were blown away with this melon!

History: This melon hails from the Ribatejo floodplain of the Targus River. For centuries, this was on of the most important agricultural areas in Portugal and this melon is the most successful variety.
