Description: Yellowish skin with salmon flesh that some describe as silky smooth with a spicy honey sweet taste. Fruits are usually 6 to 8 pounds, though some monsters can hit 10.

History: The exact history of the variety is unknown, but it is thought to have been imported into America in the 20^th century. It is believed to be a cross between Casaba and Persian melons.
