Common White Yarrow

Description: This is one of our favorite permaculture plants! It's a flower and an herb. In the garden it is extremely good at attracting beneficial insects, such as parasitic wasps. Legend has it that Achilles and his soldiers used this herb to stop wounds from bleeding, which is where its Latin name "Achillea millefolium" comes from.
