Pacific Beauty Calendula
Description: Lovely edible flowers with old fashion cottage charm. Long-blooming in shades of warm orange and yellow. Dry petals can be used for tea, tinctures or culinary use. Makes beautiful cut flowers for use in arrangements. Great for pollinators. Full Sun. 18 inches tall. Also called “pot marigold” because in the eighteenth century flowers were often thrown into pots of soup or stew for flavor and color. We use these in soaps, oils, and salves for the skin.
