Description: Heavily savoyed leaves are thick and juicy! A great variety of spring and fall. This has to be one of our favorite spinach varieties, partially because it is fast growing, partially because its easy to harvest, and partially because of the fabulous flavor!

History: This variety was first introduced by a farmer named David Ladreth in 1826 in Bristol Pennsylvania. Further improved in 1925, it’s the most popular heirloom spinach (and for good reason in our opinion). Named for David’s farm.
