Dwarf Jade Beauty Tomato
Description: We love green tomatoes like this one, even though sometimes it is hard to tell when they are ready. Perhaps that’s part of the excitement. Often a pink blush is the give away, but the best test is the squeeze and the taste. Once in the mouth, fruits are sweet and wonderful! Fruits weigh 2 to 5 ounces. Plants grow to about 4 feet. A stable open pollinated variety that sometimes throws an off-type plant

History: Introduced in 2011, 'Dwarf Jade Beauty' originated from a cross made in 2006 between 'Golden Dwarf Champion' (a medium fruited yellow dwarf) with 'Green Giant' by Dwarf Tomato Project co-founder Patrina Nuske Small in Australia. This variety was selected and named by Craig LeHoullier after the gemstone Jade, which exhibits coloring similar to the fruit. Others involved in its development were Lisa Moore, Richard Watson (New Zealand), Howard Kushner, Russell Pietsch, and Bill Minkey.
