$33.00
(1)

Description: Also known as "Dirty Dave's Giant Killer" - A once in a lifetime chance! This special release comes from the tomatoes thrown at Owen Benjamin at the Beartaria Times National Festival. We grew the tomatoes for the tomato throwing event and gathered the seeds from those fruits, including several that hit him.

Now it's your chance to grow amazing tomatoes with a fantastic story in support of a great cause! 100% of net proceeds will be donated to the Beartaria Ozark land purchase.

This is an extremely limited release and once they are gone, they are gone. Between 9 and 11 seeds per pack.

Jerusalem: Indeterminate. We first grew this heirloom tomato at the urging of our neighbor, who reported this was his favorite variety when he was able to garden. The fruits are large (generally up to a pound), red, meaty, and have absolutely wonderful flavor with very few seeds. The biggest one we have grown was a whopping 2 lb 4 oz! This is definitely a favorite on our farm.

Heirloom.

Seed grown on our farm with beyond organic standards.

Days to Maturity: 90

Approximate seeds per pack: between 9 and 11

These tomatoes are winners!

This Jerusalem tomato is now my favorite tomato! I grew one plant in my greenhouse here in northern Michigan, and I allowed it to reach a monstrous size of 6 feet in all directions. These tomatoes are wonderfully meaty. I usually prefer yellow tomatoes because red tomatoes taste too acidic to me, but these are a bit sweet, very delicious. I'm already looking forward to growing more next year!
