Description: Popular culinary herb with a very unique licorice flavor. Every part of this herb is edible including the seeds and roots. Used around the world for culinary uses, the bulbs and celery like stalks can be cooked and used in stews, the seeds used to flavor sauces, and taproots can be diced and roasted with other root vegetables, boiled and sliced into salads, used as an edible garnish on plates, or cooked and pureed into soups as a thickener.
